Have a go Heroes 16-06-'07

Okey yesterday Have a go Heroes were perfoming on Emerganza again... They came really far.
Hmmm it is still morning and i'm a bit fuzzy in the head i'm going to write this stepp for stepp.
Okey arrived at 013 and who did i see outside... Geert.. whieee... I was pretty early so we had a nice talk... and he proudly showed the merchandise they had standing there. (They have really cool shirts there and i now have one to whieeee)
So after putting on my hero shirt looking for the other larpers.. and listening to the other bands... some were okey some were good and some were "why the hell are you here? the rest must have been terrible if you won."
So it was really fun seeing a lot of people that i haven't seen in a while. and then it was 23.30 Have a go Heroes got on stage. It looked like a popidol stepped on the stage.. people were screaming and jumping up and down... So fun to see.
I was trying to find a good spot to make some pictures. (what was kind of difficult.)
Have a go Heroes started playing... The music was great the band was great and the audience was great... the band has an ability to make the audience with one song happy and dancing.. it was fun to see..
After their great performance the jury had come to a decision.
They were calling the bands from the last to first.. you could feel the tension. Then they called the 5th place Have a go Heroes...
The mood dropped dead it was silent you could hear the "aaaawwhhhh" "nooooo" and "boooooo" 's.
It was sad they really deserved to win... their love for the music they make, you can easily see when their playing or talking about music.
Then i heard a great sentence from Marco. "It doesn't matter what some kind of jury that see's you for the first time thinks. It matters what your fans and your opinion is. " Well I think there is a truth in there. For it doesn't matter they didn't make it to the first place.. what matters is that their music is great... and nothing can change that.
Well done Gert, Bas, Jasper, Geert en Arnold!!!! You rocked and you were GREAT!!!!!
